How to view the videos on this page:
Each of the drop-down boxes above displays a single speaker's name. The boxes will expand when you click anywhere inside one. When expanded, each will show a video viewer that will play all of that speaker's videos about Frithjof Schuon and his philosophy. There can be only one box open at a time. To move to the videos from another speaker, simply click in the box with that speaker's name, and the previous box will close and the new one will open. You can also close a box, without moving to another one, at any time by clicking on it.
Note: If a video is still playing when the box is closed, the video will continue playing. So, it is best to pause a video stream before moving to another speaker's videos.
How to use the video players: When there is more than one video for a speaker, the videos are organized into a playlist. As soon as one video in a playlist finishes, it will automatically load and play the next one. When the player has finished the last video in a playlist, it will automatically loop back to the first one. You will not have to do anything to watch all of the videos in a playlist. Clicking on the play button with the red background in the center of the screen will start to play all of the clips in a sequence. As soon as you click on the play button (or anywhere on the player screen), you will see other player controls.
There are several ways to move directly to other clips in the playlist:
- After clicking on the screen to start the first video on the playlist, look at the line of video controls below the player screen. Find the button directly to the right of the play button. Clicking on this other button will move you to the next video in the playlist.
- Another option is to use the keyboard combination of [Shift+n]. This will also move you to the next clip on the playlist. The keyboard combination [Shift+p] will move you to the previous clip in the list.
- You can also go directly to the playlist for a speaker to select the clip you want at any time. Look at the three short stacked horizontal lines to the right of a video's title at the top right of the player screen. When you click on those lines, you will see a list of videos in the playlist so that you can choose to jump directly to one.
