Leidlich zufrieden mag der Wandrer sein Auf seinem Pfade â er blickt dennoch sauer; Denn was ihm fehlt, oder zu fehlen scheint, Das ist, im Wind, der Schutz der festen Mauer.
Ein Mensch mag glĂźcklich sein auf seine Weise Durch seine Pflicht â doch weiĂ er von den NĂśten Der Welt, der Seele, und mag Hilfe suchen.
Es gibt nur Eine feste Burg: das Beten â Der Glaube, der den Berg, den Felsen hebt;
Selig der Mann, dess Herz vom Glauben lebt.
